Who is Grinko?

Grinko is a shop for everyone who wants more greenery at home, in an apartment, greenhouse, garage or a smaller growing space. We are establishing ourselves as a space for indoor plant growing, microgreens, mushrooms, herbs, seedlings, hydroponics and all those projects where plants need a little more knowledge, the right equipment and good growing conditions.

At Grinko, we want to make indoor growing accessible to both beginners and more experienced gardeners. We know that choosing equipment can quickly become confusing: which LED light to choose, what substrate to use, how to arrange ventilation, when to measure pH and EC, and which fertilizers make sense.

Grinko will have a physical store in Šentvid, Ljubljana, and at the same time, we are developing a transparent online store for customers throughout Slovenia. What if I don't know what equipment I need?

This is normal. Once the store is open, we will help you choose equipment based on space, plants, growing method, and budget.

Can I grow plants in winter, too?

Yes. This is one of the main advantages of indoor cultivation. With appropriate light, temperature, and basic conditions, you can grow certain plants even in autumn and winter.

What's easiest to start with?

The easiest starts are microgreens, a mushroom growing kit, or some basic herbs. These projects don't require much space and quickly show results.

Do I need a grow light?

It depends on what you want to grow and how much natural light you have. Microgreens and seedlings often thrive better with additional light, while herbs need a sufficiently bright space or adequate lighting.

Do I need a lot of space?

No. For a start, a shelf, a table, a windowsill, or a small corner in the apartment is enough. Larger systems come later when you want more control or more plants.
