Want to get started but don't know how?
Indoor Growing Without Complications
Indoor plant growing can seem complicated at first. LED lights, substrates, hydroponics, fertilizers, pH, EC, ventilation… information quickly becomes overwhelming and it's hard to know what you really need.
That's why at Grinko, we've created a space for beginners. Here, we want to make indoor growing accessible to everyone who wants to grow herbs, microgreens, seedlings, chilies, vegetables, mushrooms, or other plants at home, but doesn't know exactly where to start.
For a good start, you don't need to have the biggest equipment or the most expensive system. You can start very simply, with one tray of microgreens, a pot of herbs, a mushroom growing kit, or a basic indoor growing setup.
It's important not to start too big. The best start is one that you can understand, maintain, and gradually upgrade. At Grinko, we want to help beginners approach indoor growing more confidently, without unnecessary guesswork and buying equipment they don't need.
What to start with?
Microgreens
Microgreens are one of the easiest ways to start indoor growing. They grow quickly, don't require much space, and show the first results after just a few days. All you need is a tray, seeds, suitable substrate, and a little regular attention.
Herbs
Herbs are a practical choice for the kitchen, windowsill, or a small home corner. Basil, mint, parsley, chives, and other herbs bring freshness into the room and are always at hand when you need them for cooking.
Mushrooms
Growing mushrooms is a fun and different start for anyone who doesn't have a garden, balcony, or much space. Starter kits allow you to observe the entire development of mushrooms at home and easily learn another interesting form of home growing.
Indoor Grow Kits
If you want a more organised setup, kits are a good choice. They combine essential equipment that belongs together, such as a tent, light, and ventilation, making getting started easier and less confusing.

What if I don't know what equipment I need?
This is normal. Once the shop is open, we will help you choose equipment based on the space, plants, growing method, and budget.
Can I grow plants in winter?
Of course! That's one of the main advantages of indoor growing. With proper light, temperature, and basic conditions, you can grow certain plants even in autumn and winter.
What's easiest to start with?
The easiest beginnings are microgreens, a mushroom growing kit, or some basic herbs. These projects don't require much space and quickly show results.
Do I need a grow light?
It depends on what you want to grow and how much natural light you have. Microgreens and seedlings often do better with additional light, while herbs need a sufficiently bright spot or appropriate lighting.
Do I need a lot of space?
No. To start, a shelf, a table, a windowsill, or a small corner of the apartment is enough. Larger systems come later, when you want more control or more plants.
Is indoor growing suitable for beginners?
Of course. You can start with simple plants such as microgreens, herbs, seedlings, or mushrooms. It's important to start with a small setup and learn as you go.
